I’m glad to say that I’ve filed my taxes for 2019. The questionnaire that I filled out prior to meeting with the tax preparer included the above questions. I admit, I was in the mode of checking “no” so much that I almost stopped reading the questions.

I continue to reflect on this statement as I celebrate all my blessings this Thanksgiving. If you’re reading this then the odds are in your favor of being one of my blessings; then again you probably have enlightened me as well. Thus I’d like to change the “or” to “and”.

I’m currently pet-sitting for some friends. Their street was being re-paved this week when I headed back over to my place on my bike. I stopped to ask one of the workers when they would be done & she told me 6:00pm. Thus, I took the long way home via the post office. When I got home, I was so sweaty that I opted to take a quick shower & slipped into my little black nightgown- a bit shearer & lower cut than I normally would go out in; however, I was assuming that I would only be making the quick drive back to Pepe’s.
My morning routine includes indulging in a cup of hot chocolate as I review information on my computer. I use a clear measuring cup so that I know how long it will take to heat it in the micro wave. This allows me to finish my morning exercises in front of the microwave while I watch for bubbles.
…I know that one is never suppose to say never; however, never regret anything that put a smile on your face and/or that of another person…
Recently, as I approached the check-out lane hugging my carton of Haagen Dazs Ice Cream with a grapefruit on top, the lady in front of me invited me to go ahead of her since I only had 2 items. I jokingly said, this was the new grapefruit diet. She laughingly said she could ”buy” into that. Then she turned to the checker & requested that he add my 2 items onto her bill. Turns out we both put smiles on each others faces.
